Delete Account

How to request that your Trips Ahoy! account and associated data are deleted.

Account Deletion Steps

You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the Trips Ahoy! app (developed by DeekFit) or via the web app. To request deletion:

  1. Log in to the app on your mobile device, or on the web at https://www.tripsahoy.app/app.
  2. Navigate to the Settings page.
  3. Choose Delete Account.
  4. Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.

Data Deleted Immediately

Once you confirm your account deletion, all associated records are permanently and immediately removed from our active systems. This includes:

  • Account Details: Your email, credentials, and profile settings.
  • Boat & Fleet Records: Vessel descriptions, equipment notes, and configuration history.
  • Trip Logs & Float Plans: Past logged trips, active/draft float plans, routes, and passenger manifests.
  • Media & Attachments: Any uploaded photos or files linked to your vessels or trip records.

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, this information cannot be recovered.

Data Retained

We do not retain any user information, boat records, or media after your account is deleted. Offline or rolling database backups are overwritten automatically within our standard retention window.
